RETURN POLICY FOR ONLINE PURCHASES

The following return policy only applies to purchases placed online. If you made a purchase in store, please read the Return Policy for In-Store Purchases.

Returns and refunds by mail

Any return by mail of items purchased online is refunded within 2 to 3 weeks. For an exchange, you need to go in store. Please read the In-store returns and exchanges section for more details.

Any new, unused and unworn item in their original packaging can be returned by mail thanks to the prepaid return label included in the package. Please note that each package must be returned with its corresponding return label. Return fees for returns by mail will apply.

We reserve the right to refuse the return and refund of any used or worn item. In which case, the item in question will be shipped back to you.

The excluded products are:

  • Jocks
  • Mouth guards
  • Face coverings and masks
  • Socks, underwear and sports bras

What is the allotted time frame to return my items?

The maximum time frame to return and get a refund for your item is 15 days from the date of purchase.

How long can it take before processing my refund?

  • 2 to 3 weeks are required to process the return and to proceed with the refund.
  • The refunded amount will appear on your statement within 7 business days.

Are there return fees and will the shipping and other additional fees be refunded?

  • A return processing fee of $10.00 plus taxes will be deducted from the refund when you choose to return your items by mail.
  • The shipping fee of $11.99 plus taxes are not refundable.

How to return by mail my item purchased online?

Prepare your parcel

Use the original packaging (shipping box or bag) to pack your unused and undamaged item, including all the parts, accessories and instructions.

Affix your return label

In order to facilitate the return of your items, a Canada Post preprinted and prepaid return label is automatically included when your package is shipped. Affix the label directly on the outside of the shipping box or bag. To avoid any confusion, make sure that no other address can be seen on the parcel.

When returning shoes, do not stick the return label directly on the shoe box or close that box with adhesive tape. We reserve the right to refuse any return of shoes having a return label or adhesive tape directly sticked on the box. If so, the shoes will be shipped back to you.

Send your parcel

All you need to do is drop your parcel in a Canada Post office or mailbox. Note that the postage is prepaid but, a return processing fee of $10.00 plus taxes will be deducted from your refund.

Check your email box

You will receive a notification email once your refund is completed. The refund will be issued on the same payment method used at the time of purchase.

Can I do an exchange by mail?

No, exchanges are only done in store. Read the In-store returns and exchanges section for further information.

If you return an item by mail, no exchange will be possible for that item.

Can an item purchased on sale be returned?

Yes, you can return an item purchased on clearance or on sale in accordance with our return policy.


In-store returns and exchanges

You can exchange or return items purchased online in one of our Sports Rousseau, Hockey Experts and L’Entrepôt du Hockey stores. Note that exchanges can only be done in store.

You only need to go to a store of your choosing with your electronic receipt to return new, unused and unworn items in their original packaging.

We reserve the right to refuse the return or the refund of used or worn items.

Are there return fees?

No, returning or exchanging an item in store is free.

How are refunds processed in store?

We can process a refund for new, unused and unworn items upon presentation of your electronic receipt within 15 days of receiving your order confirmation email.

How long do I need to wait before receiving my refund?

In store, we process your refund immediately. However, depending on your financial institution and your payment method, it may take some time before the refund amount appears on your account.

How to exchange an item in store?

Visit one of our Sports Rousseau, Hockey Experts and L’Entrepôt du Hockey stores with your electronic receipt to exchange any new, unused and unworn items in their original packaging.

It is possible to exchange your items within 15 days of receiving your order confirmation email.

In order to exchange your item, we suggest you communicate with the chosen store to confirm the availability of the item before going to the store. The store inventory is updated every hour on our website, therefore discrepancies may occur. Also, the inventory may vary from one store to another.


Warranties

Please visit one of our Sports Rousseau, Hockey Experts and L’Entrepôt du Hockey stores to learn about our suppliers’ warranty policies.

Please note that those warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, improper use and accidental breakage of items bought online or in store. Hockey stick accidental breakage under normal use will be subject to the manufacturer’s limited 30-day warranty.
